Season to be Jolly...and also very Swollen

So its been forever since I have blogged but I have a pretty legitimate excuse this time.......I GOT MY WISDOM TEETH OUT :) My mom didn't believe the past several months when I have been complaining about getting pressure headaches and my jaw being sore, but little did she know I was right all along...like always muahaha!

This is a picture of all the medication that they gave me to start on so that I would have it in my system and the recovery would be a lot easier.

Let me tell ya, I felt pretty darn fantastic...I woke up the next morning bright and early looking like this (rocking the no-makeup look) and was sitting in the chair waiting for them to hook me up. Oh and yes, I did get new glasses, the ones that make people look smarter :) and yes they are perscription and not the ones you get from 3D movies :P

 There were a few complications during the surgery, my blood pressure and heart rate went way up and I started to come out of the anesthesia, which made me hysterical for no reason. They promised my mom that I wouldn't remember anything, ha ha well I guess I'm just special because I can tell you all the details and even what the doctors where saying to each other during the procedure, but no matter how hard I try I cant remember how I got home and into bed...weird stuff right there.

I woke up much later after sleeping most of the day and I actually felt pretty fantastic, a few of my friends came over and we went to the ward Christmas party and then came home and watching the Lovely Bones and even played a little of Dance Dance 2 on the Wii. My mom was going to kill me because she kept telling me to take it easy but I really didn't feel all that bad.

The next day I slept a lot in the car on our drive to Boise to drop Amie and Isaac (my little brother and sister) off so they could spend the Holiday with their father.

Its pretty exciting, I get to spend the whole Holiday Break with my mom and just relax. For example, I came to work with her today and have gotten a lot done, and even though we haven't talked much because she is working its just been being around her and the people at her work :)

Something that always helps the time go by a little faster is hanging out with my friends.

Santa Run Baby

There were tons of Santa's running and it was a blast!  Although today I walked out side to get my mail because I heard the mail man, and when I went out he said, "you looked good as a Santa".....not sure what to say that....so I said thank you and ran back inside

Isaac kicked all our buts and got a really good time! Overall it was a lot of fun, something every family should do at least once. 

My sister found this kid on YouTube and he is actualy really good. His dream to sing with Justin Bieber, and boy is he good enough :)

December Is Here!!!

Yesterday while I was babysitting (which I do 2 or 4 times a week) the kids wanted to do Christmas crafts....and what is more fun than cutting our paper snowflakes!

We got pretty fancy with them, all three of these are mine...and I really don't mean to brag but I think they turned out pretty fantastic.

So I am an animal person but I'm not crazy about them, and freak out, but I saw this video and it really touched my heart :) These Beagles had been in a Experimental Laboratory their entire lives and had known nothing but the inside of their metal crates. These people found out and went and rescued them and they let them run around in the grass and then shared their adoption stories. It is so cute!

Thanksgiving!!

Oh wow..well I have not posted in forever, it is because I have been out of town! I went house sitting someones house, that's right Carol and I were all by ourselves for a whole week. I felt so mature, making all of our own meals and cleaning up after them because I wanted to not just cause my mom told me to, doing a few loads of laundry and taking care of the dogs. Not to mention we watched the whole first two seasons of Vampire Diaries! I am obsessed with that show so much it is ridiculous! If I had to recommend a TV show it would either be that or Prison Break, I really don't watch a lot of TV but I have spent my fare amount of time watching those shows. 

Thanksgiving was a Joy, even though we were all the way out in Springville we did come home for that. My family went to Angie's house ( who is a partner at my mom's Firm). It was a lot of fun, at times it was a little awkward cause i didn't know anybody and we were the only ones who weren't family but they were supper nice :) It was one of my first Thanksgiving's not with Family. Let me just say I am so grateful for family, you have no idea how much they really mean to you until you don't have them around. Living so far away from any family has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do but it has just taught me that we need to treasure the time we have with them.

I have been trying to cook and clean more to help my mom out. Tonight I made Pad Tai and homemade Spring Rolls .... and oh my heck they were Delicious!

I am so excited for Christmas! I have to go to my dad's house which I am not excited about but other than that I ecstatic for feeling and spirit that this season brings. It seems like the last couple of months of the year are always so emotional for me, every little thing gets the water works going! I cant wait to curl up in blankets with long socks and watching movies and sipp hot drinks :) Doing service is always my favorite! We are going to dress up as elves and go around with Santa to peoples houses for YW's and I seriously cant wait! The only thing I cant stand is Christmas shopping, don't get my wrong i love to give gifts but trying to get the perfect one is killer! I have already started listening to Christmas music so I am super Pumped!

So for this next week my goals are keep my room clean..do ALL of my homework..and try to help make more of the meals! So Long for now!

Time to Slow Down

Today I stayed home and slept over 15 hours because I had a migraine and any light made me want to through up cause my head was going to explode! I only get migraines every couple months, but when I do get them...oh man...I might as well be dead. 

An exciting thing is we have two new additions to out family :)

BUNNIES!! Baby bunnies to be exact!

The one on the left who is a light grey color is mine and his name is Danny, and the one on the right is a really pretty orange color is Amie's and her name is Pumpkin or Kinny for short.

We have learned that they both have very strong personalities. Pumpkin is very adventures and likes to explore she will run in her box when you open her cage because she knows that when you hold her she wont be able to move very much. Danny on the other hand is super chill and wants to be held all the time, you can hold him like a baby and he will fall asleep. I never thought I would be a bunny person but they are so stinking cute. My mom on the other hand has NOT warmed up to them and is still not to sure about them. Scruffy, our dog like to run around with pumpkin and they play it is so adorable he just hasn't realized yet that he is a lot bigger than she is and he sometimes crushes her :(. 

Today when I went babysitting we watched The Swan Princess and oh my heck it has been forever since I have seen that movie, I forgot how cheesy little kids movies are, but I still love that movie. I hope when I have kids they will still appreciate the old classics.

There is something about country that is way better than any other kind of music. I get made fun of all the time but I think you have to learn to love it and once you do you become totally addicted! I really don't listen to anything else unless I'm with friends. 

So Sadie's was this weekend and yes I did go but I don't really want to talk about it so all I'm going to say was that it was my first and most likely last date ha ha oh dear....it was something else..

On that note we are getting bunnies! ha ha that sounds crazy but we are pretty excited. My dad has bunnies at his house and they are fun but i never actually thought we would get them at my mom's house, but somehow she said yes..so if anyone has any cute bunny names that hit me up with some :) 

It was my mom's birthday and it was actually the day of Sadie's so we didn't do a whole lot but on Friday night i came home at 1 am and brought her an Orchid which happened to be the time she was born and I totally didn't plan on it! 

We are going to go to Tucanos later this week together so I  am really looking forward to that. Until next time. Peace!

Where do you get your inspiration?

Where to even begin.....I get so much inspiration that it is overwhelming! Well to begin I watched this Movie called Lifted and Oh my heck it makes me want to be a better person. Here is a little clip, but I highly recommend that you watch it. It is on Netflix right now just in case you were wondering :)

Also my Seminary Teacher. He is a fantastic man, I have learned so much from him it is insane and i wish i could be half the person he is! I have learned to love my scriptures with a greater passion.
My mom! She is so amazing and if you know her you know what I am talking about. She works so hard for all of us kids and provides for us all on her own. She has been the best example to me and my sibling. She works the hardest I have ever seen someone work, i love her to death!
My Friends, Iv seen several people go through trials and are even going through them right now. We all have our struggles but when you can except someone for who they are even though they are not perfect, there is nothing more powerful! 
Movies! Such as Lifted, I have never cryed so hard in a movie!
Mormon Messages if you ever spend time and watch one I promise you will go through the rest of your day feeling inspired and wanting to be a better person. 
There are many more but these are my main ones! The last couple months has been the best slash worst ever, lots of things I must over come in my life, not only learning how to get along with people I will have to for the rest of my life but helping others and watching them go through some of the same things. Today was just one of those days that I felt inspired to be a better person! :)

Halloween :)

This year was a blast! I was kinda worried because I had talked to my mom and she said I wasn't aloud to go trick or treating unless I took my little brother...I ended up going with a ton of the little kids from our neighborhood, Mary Kemp, Carol, and my Momma, it was a BLAST!

I also didn't plan on dressing up this year, but I found this outfit and DI and I loved it! And guess what, we didn't spend more than $5 on it!! BONUS!!

Amie wanted to stay home and pass out the candy! She was a cowgirl :) SO CUTE!

So when we went trick or treating I didn't end up getting any candy but that was totally OK with me. I didn't really go trick or treating to get candy, I just wanted to go to go. I don't think you are ever to old to go. I just loved seeing all the people and seeing the kids get so excited over going from house to house and getting free candy! It was getting pretty late and we decided to go to Angie's House for Chili (She is a Partner at the Firm my mom works at)! We have done it the past couple of years and I love going and seeing her, and visiting with her and her husband. We didn't get back till super late so Carol and I really felt it the today during first period...Halloween Hang Over :(

Today was super fantastic because I had an ortho appt.......and I get my braces off it 3 WEEKS :) Super Pumped! Anyways thats all untill next time :) heres a video to get excited for christmas....

the beginning now that the end of my life is over..

The end of the term was this last week! It was crazy busy, I had several things going on with HOSA and had a huge conference for FBLA! AAHH so finally at the end I wasn't scrambling to make things up from the whole term but just from the last few days! but i cam out alive....barely with all A's and a B....

My mom has been training to to a half marathon and she finally did it :) I am so proud of her. We went Saturday morning and met her at the finish line! It was very emotional for everyone, i didn't want her to see me cry so i tryed to hide it but she cryed the last few miles...the best thing was that Isaac got to run across the finish live with her! It was an amazing experience!

My Family in a Nutshell

So my family is kinda crazy if you havnt already noticed. Just in the last few days we have had some crazy times. My mom and brother left the house so Amie and I could have some piece and quiet for a few hours to calm our nerves.

He is just so handsome! Im pretty sure he was showing my mom a moth that he picked up...YuCK! But it makes a great picture :)

My brother and I have a special relationship, we get along so well, that is....when we do get along. We are just both at that age were we love or hate each other. The other day we came home from church and we were in one of those I love you moods! It was so much fun, we took some cute pictures on my moms phone.

I wish we did this more often cause it was a blast he is sooo cute!

Any who....It was a blast!

So tonight it was about 7:30 and Isaac needed to get ready for bed but he wanted to get his hair cut so he could be a Jedi from Star Wars. There was a huge misunderstanding when my mom wanted me to "trim" his hair, but Isaac and i had talked about buzzing it.....

Does that LOOK LIKE A "TRIM" .....ya no so my mom started freaking out...which made Isaac freak out, and he didn't even know what he was crying about....but luckily i saved my butt....

You may be laughing by now...but hey this cute be the new fashion.......

We buzzed his head all but a lil patch and then we put a braided extension in it.(luckily i used to wear hair extensions so i just had them in the drawer waiting to be used) 

In the end he absolutely LOVED it! So all was well...Phewwww, i was worried I had lost my social life when i saw the look on my moms face....but hey, whatever makes Isaac happy :)

Overall my family is way exciting and if you ever get bored feel free to come over and observe because we can for sure keep you entertained for hours...no joke!

Fall 2011

So I havnt been on inforever...oopps! I have so much to write about it kinda hurts my brain. So ill just start with the basics, school is great, couldnt be better! Im in several different clubs so that keeps me pretty busy. I have also been a part time nanny a couple days a week and those kids sure keep me on my toes. Been hanging out with friends a lot, i went hiking the other day with Carol, Becca, and Lauryn. 

We hiked the Y and it was a blast, and helped me realize how out of shape i am. Sadies is coming up and im super excited! I asked this kid named Brandon, who is the older brother of my sisters not "boyfriend". Carol asked Tyler who took Brayla to Homecoming! Kenadee asked Sam Wilcox, and Becca might be in our group as well, so pretty much our group rocks!
Halloween in coming up and I got my costum, youll never guess what i am going to be.....yup, a Forest Ranger! BE JelOUS! I have to admit it smokin hot!
Latley since I have no life I have been watching videos on Youtube of Missionaries...dont judge to much, they are pretty freakin hilarious........just see for yourself....

So that pretty much sums up my life for now :)

NEW YEAR

It has been forever long since i have gotten on and blogged! i hope this year will be a good one! i am excited! i am going to sign up for a lifeguarding class and hopefully get a job! i have my photography that will keep me busy! and plus i have started a rug bag buisness with my friend megan and i think we might ring in the dough with that, because that is already going very nicely! i dont have a whole lot of drama in my life right now ( lets keep it that way ) i am just very excited for the new year.
REFLECTIONS ON THE PAST YEAR:

* getting braces for the second time because my teeth are retarded!
* finally starting high school woot woot
* 15th birthday (one year befor i can date muahahahhahahah)
* officially becoming a teenager
* being able to pay for my own cell phone!
* ruining my hair so it has to be proffesionaly fixed ( at least 120$ out of my own pocket OOUUCCHH)
* over all an amzing year!! wouldnt change a thing.. hope this year is better!!! :)
